If German schlager/pop star Helene Fischer ever decides to tour the Western Hemisphere, we know of at least one country where she is bound to do well.
Peru.
That Andean country, also host to a long Pacific ocean-front, has a population that is largely the offspring of the great Incan Indian culture.
We know that the beautiful and mellifluous Helene Fischer would do well there, due to the response of our 20-something Peruvian housekeeping girl, Madaleina, who we found grooving to the following 1 hour long Helene Fischer "Greatest Hits" complilation, while she was tidying up the house.
She doesn't understand a word of German (and precious little English, for that matter) but the schlager dance beat of the songs, combined with Helene's impassioned strains, greatly impressed this young Peruvian girl.
